- Smart Money
Transactions
This is where you will find information such as live DEX trades, top transactions, who have been buying or selling.
The first dashboard we will be diving into is "Who Bought?" & "Who Sold?". As the name suggests, you will be able to look at top buyers and sellers for the token you are looking into and how much was picked up in the last 24 hours or last 7 days.
Who Bought
Who Sold?
Within this dashboard, you also have the option to filter for 🤓 Smart Money who have been buying or selling. Just turn on the toggle for Smart Money.
The next dashboard we will be looking at is the "Top Transaction" dashboard. This table shows you the largest movement of this token between two parties.
For example, in the image below, we are able to identify that 18 hours ago, a fund, Brevan Howard Digital, moved 250,000 LDO tokens to Coinbase and another 250,000 to Binance. Oftentimes, such activities indicate that there is an intention to sell the tokens on a centralised exchange, which in this case, is Coinbase and Binance.
Other times, you will see transaction involving a DEX like Uniswap, 1inch etc which indicates that a party is buying or selling the token on the DEX like the image below.
Balances
The "Balances" table gives you a list of the top holders of a token. Some insights you can gain from this table are the ownership split of a token, token balance change over 24 hours, 7 or 30 days and when they first received the token.
Balance by address
We can see from the image below, Paradigm Capital holds close to 7% of LDO tokens.
Exchanges
Under "Exchanges", you will be able to spot token flow patterns involving exchanges through Deposits and Withdrawals.
With insights from "Total Supply on Exchanges", we can see that LDO tokens have been changing hands from exchanges to market participants with a 0.07% decrease in supply on exchanges compared to the previous week.
Another insight you can gather from the Exchanges dashboard is the "🤓 Netflow to Exchanges (7d)". As we can see here, 1.76M LDO token has been deposited to exchanges by Smart Money in the last 7 days.
From the Exchange Flows dashboard, you will be able to get a clear picture of the volume moving in and out of exchanges. You can also look at Depositors/Withdrawers to understand if the volume was done by a small group within the market or a larger group of traders.
Smart Money
Tokens Held by Smart Money with # of Wallets gives you a visual representation of Smart Money's position in the token over time. Are they accumulating more or are they slowly selling their position? Another question you can get answered is, whether conviction in the token comes from just a handful of tokens or is it widely popular among most Smart Money.
Smart Money Token Holdings dashboard gives you an elaborate view on which Smart Money is having exposure to the token. There are a couple of insights you can draw from this dashboard:
1) Value of their position (Which Smart Money has the largest position?)
2) Change - 24H/7D/30D (Which Smart Money has bought or sold the token within the specific timeframe)
